Review according to BJCP 2008 guidelines (style 18D). Aroma: light sweet malt aroma, honey alcohol and spices. Very subtle hop aroma and esters (orange like). moderate alcohol aroma. Appearance: deep gold with material in suspension, so not clear. white creamy head with good retention and lacing. Taste: bitter taste from hops (this is a special blond) that linger to the finish. Medium bitterness balanced with high alcohol content. Some orange zest flavor present. dry finish and moderate bitter aftertaste. Palate: medium-high carbonation with medium body, giving a creamy sensation. Overall: a complex blend of aromas and flavours that combine well together.

Hoppy nose. Hazy golden colour, long lasting generous frothy white head, good lacing. bread, floral, herbal hops, honey, yeasty, citrus. Fresh medium bitter taste, light sweetness, hint of citrus. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation; mild dry bitter finish, hints of sweetness. Alcohol well-hidden, very good balance.

Tap at Delirium. It pours clear golden with a massive white head. The nose is earthy, toast, hay, grass, icing sugar and dough. The taste is bitter, grassy, grain, hay, icing sugar, straw, alcohol bite, spice and dough with a dry, bitter finish. medium body and prickly carbonation. Decent enough hoppy Belgian ale.

Golden with small white head. Yeast, orange, grass, malts. Taste is big bitterness with touch if sweet. Medium bodied. Some noticeable alcohol. Ok, but it's mostly just yeasty bitterness.

Bottle from biernavi.de. Golden, light amber clear body with creamy long-lasting white head. Aroma of citrus, belgian yeast, brown sugar, some spices and some alcohol. Nice taste! More spices, nutty belgian yeast, fruits, citrus, a bit malt and it finishes hoppy and dry. The mouthfeel is full, creamy to oily, with a medium carbonation. A really tasty, elegant, greatly balanced hoppy Belgian strong ale. The high ABV isn’t really noticeable, very smooth to drink. Enjoyed this a lot!

This golden ale poured with a thin off-white head. The flavor is fruity and spicy with a subtle, but tasty hop presence.

330ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Clear golden yellow with a long-lasting white head, great lacing. Aromas are less hoppy than I might have though, but noble hop type spice and floral notes are there, alongside spicy contributions form the yeast, and some lemon. Touch of alcohol noticeable, but only a touch. Having said that, it slips down nicely for it’s strength. Rich and full-bodied for such a pale beer. Nice.

Single bottle at the LCBO. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a frothy white head, great retention and foamy lace. Aromas of Belgian Ale yeast, lemon, mild bananas and slight grassy hops. Nicely balanced between and oily mouthfeel and some hop dryness. Well-blended grassy hops, Belgian yeast with cereal hay malts and some other sweet malt notes. A decent hoppy Belgian Ale.
