Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, coffee, herbs. Flavour is sweet with a light bitter finish. A bit too sweet/herbal, would have liked a heavier coffee character.

Bottle at Bierhuys Woerden. Deep brown beer. A gusher. Barmaid let it go so I only got half a glass. Some espresso coffee. Some dark chocolate. Some brown malts. Light hop sting on the finish. Yes more coffee throughout. But not overly dominant. It's decent.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Lovely smell of fresh grinded mocha and some chocolate. Malty sweet flavor with coffee and chocolate. A coffee roast bitterness in the aftertaste. Simple but pleasant.

At Daverlo, Assebroek. Pours hazy dark brown with a reddish hue and a frothy, tan head. The aroma contains roasted malt, coffee roast & powder, spices (pepper), dark fruits and nuts. It tastes light fruity sweet and light berry-like sour, quickly becoming light roasted bitter; spicy, slightly roasted finish with some warming alcohol. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Subtle and enjoyable.

Fles geprobeerd met Roelzie1986. Het is een caramelachtig bruin bier, tijdens het inschenken behoorlijk schuimend maar dit wordt snel minder. Aroma van koffie en gist. De smaak van koffie met heel veel koolzuur.
