75cl bottle whilst watching France vs USA on an Arab channel. Pours a generally clear gold, good frothy white head. Aroma brings you soft yeast, light herbs, pale malt. Taste is pillowy soft, with a very good herbal yeast sweetness, some hay, apricot and a vibrant Belgian blonde character thats boosted by its herbal presence. Very satisfying.

Bottle at Beer Merchants. It pours lightly hazy golden with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, stick, banana split, spice, clove, booze, soapy, floral, fragrant, bitters, tannin, herbal, musky and wood. The taste is bitter - sweet, sticky, clove rock, warming alcohol, spicy, herbal, tannin, leather, doughy, nougat and cereal with a warming finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty interesting stuff. Intense.

Bottle shared at Beer Merchants - Cheers. Pours lightly hazy gold with a creamy, white head. Plenty of yeast and phenols in the nose, ripe citrus, vanilla, wheat bread. Medium to heavy sweet flavour, some golden raisins, alcohol, more wheat bread. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, more phenols, wheat, lemon pith, meringue. Not bad!

Dark golden to light orange, almost clear. About one finger of head, ok retention and not much lacing. A quite strong aroma: yeast, fruit (expecially pear and peach, on the verge of candied fruit) and some spiciness. Taste shows a sweetish malts base (biscuity and slight honey), with candied fruit as per smell, some sugar and a bit of alcohol warmth. Overall definitely sweet with enough balance in a finish that shows a light herbal note. Dense in body with average carbonation, surely mouthfilling. A dense slow sipper, well made and nicely warming, though maybe not as complex as you may look for in such a dense beer.

Tasting @ Koelschtrinker, 2016er. Sweetish sticky beginning. Intense malty, plums, red fruit. Malty sticky finish, very dry with bitter hints. Nice and deep, a bit sticky, alcoholic parts. Nice.
