Big foamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet floral, weeds, minerals, flowers, candi sugar, grass, hay, heather, honey, bark, paper. Taste is slightly dry floral, grass, flowers, candi sugar, minerals, alcohol, weeds, heather, paper, hay, bark. Medium bitterness, dry mineraly mouthfeel. Meh!

Bottle at Erzbierschof MC, vintage 2013. Pours clear yellow. Aroma is bitter almond, lots of flowers, dried sweet fruit, honey. Body is medium, rather sweet, honey and flowers again, soft carbonation. Palate is medium long and rather sweet. Good.

Bottle, 750 ml from Beergium. Shared with rest at the grand tasting 11/2016. Pours clear yellow with medium white head. Malty, fruity, yeasty, perfumy, creamy texture, moderate sweetness. Medium bodied. Easy drinkable, alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle 750 ml. v. 2016: Golden color, sparkling, with good white foam. Aroma: very spicy, turmeric, coriander and cinnamon, fruits, pear, peel and a little soap or perfume. Taste: very spicy, ripe pear, a little alcohol, coriander, light candy sweetness, plum. v. 2014: more balanced, more plum wine, +1.

Draft at BitterCreek. Ale Holden with soft wispy head, streaky lacing. Straight forward malty aroma, taste turns sweet, butter, toffee, butterscotch. Slick and smooth. No sign of the 10% ABV

Pale blond with bright, white head. Aroma and flavour have sweet fruits like banana and peach. Quite like candied dried fruit. The high alcohol gives a balance of dryness.

Kirkas, hiivojen kanssa aavituksen samea punertavan kullankeltainen olut paksuhkolla valkoisella vaahdolla. Tuoksu hedelmäinen, karamellisen makea ja hieman aniksinen ja jopa lakritsaa havaittavissa. Todella houkutteleva kokonaisuus. Maku siirappinen ja karamellisen makea sekä maltainen, vahvasti belgihiivainen ja viljainen sekä hedelmäinen. Jälkimaultaan tahmaisen sokerinen ja hiivainen. Alkoholi tuntuu hieman läpi, mutta ei liian paljoa. Ihan toimiva belgi.
