75 cl. bottle poured in to a Trappist glass. Hazy, golden colour with a big, fluffy white head. Sweet aroma with fruits - apricot, oranges and citrus. Yeasts, spices and a subtle warmth from alcohol. Taste is sweet. Full body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Long lasting sweet finish with a rich fruitiness, spices, yeasts and warmth from alcohol. Excellent, rich Belgian.

Bottle shared by KyotoLefty 2008 vintage. Nice soft gold pour. A sweet fruity balanced nose. The taste is fruity & a touch grainy, very solid but past it’s prime. By this point in the evening my palate was fairly shot due to tons of sour beers...

2008 bottle. Nose of apples, honey and biscuits. Deep blond, hazy, with floaties. Touch of pear in the flavor, apple, good tartness to balance the honey and biscuit sweetness. No hops left at all. Oxidized, but still in very nice shape.

Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is big yeast, rich citrus, sugar coated almonds, marzipan. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a sweet malt, boozy alcohol palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

750 ml corked & caged bottle, vintage 2012, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 10%. Golden colour, huge white head. Sweetish and sugary aroma, with notes of ripe yellow fruits (esp. plums), flowers, white kandij sugar syrup and malts. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements as in the aroma, also mild spicy notes. Pleasant enough to drink.
