Leffe Tripel is een authentiek blond abdijbier met karakter, dat nagist in de fles dankzij het hoge gehalte aan gist. Een bier met een rijkgeschakeerd aroma.

Bottle. Clear gold/orange with a lovely white head. Aroma of yeast, clove, citrus fruits and bitter oranges. Taste is oranges, honey, clove, yeast, apricots, honey, coriander and herbal/spicy hops. Relatively long lasting bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Balanced. Typical Leffe: A well crafted and reasonably priced beer that ticks all the right boxes without being outstanding. Nice everyday Tripel.

33 cl bottle at the very Maison Leffe, Dinant. Pours hazy amber with some greenish shades. Thick, long-lasting off-white head. Aroma is cookies, citrus, rosemary honey (the last one is one thing, not two: rosemary honey.) Mouthfeel is powerful, quite citrusy, tasty, full-bodied and slightly salty. Heck, I don't care if this is industrial, is quite a beer. It lasts long and I like it, even if I can find it at my local supermarket.
