Pours clear golden with a small, off-white head. Typical 'Leffe' aroma of sugar, apple (sauce), artificial hops, white bread, (cookie) dough, something perfumed. It tastes medium sugary sweet and medium 'spicy' bitter with an immediate astringent effect from added hop aroma, leading to an alcoholic and almost wry finish. Medium body, slick/syrupy texture, soft carbonation. An Abbey Triple as it shouldn't be.

Bottle. Poured slightly hazy amber colour with a good sized white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, fruit, caramel and a light herbal/spice edge. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianca fine media persistenza, color ambrato chiaro torbido, al naso malto luppolo lieviti belgi pesca matura e spezie, in bocca malto caramello uva passa chiodi di garofano e zucchero di canna, carbonatazione decisa, corpo rotondo, alcool ben nascosto, leggero watery, amaro deciso lungo nel finale. Leffe... una garanzia 05.11.17

Smell of banana, yeast. Amber colour, white head. Aroma of banana, yeast, sugar. Very much like weizen, yet a clear tripel. Very sweet. Viscous, flat carbon.

Uit fles. Mooie goudgele kleur. Geur niet al te aanwezig (jammer), maar de smaak is erg goed. Citrus, ook zoete zachte smaak. Prima.

Il gusto al naso trova orzo e floreale. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la persistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una discreta resistenza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. La carbonazione è nella norma. La consistenza del liquido è limpida, attraversato costantemente da bollicine medio-fini. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è medio. L'intensità gustativa è elevata e la persistenza gustativa è sufficiente. Il finale è lungo e secco. Sulla lingua si depositano impressioni di miele, biscotto, frutta secca e alcol presente.
