Strong body and powerful flavour ale but that offers a ‘velvet sip’. The vanilla flavour, from Madagascar beans, stands out above roasted, cocoa and coffee notes. Plato 22.4°.

Bottle 0.33l, vintage 2015. Clear, red to black colored. AROMA- sweet chocolate, cocoa drink, strong vanilla. FLAVOR- neutral, pleasantly bitter, chocolate, vanilla, cocoa powder, nuts, pralines. Fuller bodied.

330ml bottle, 2017 vintage. Black with a tan head. Aroma of cocoa, vanilla, dark malts. Taste of rich bittersweet cocoa powder, vanilla, roast malt, dark fruits. Medium-full body, soft carbonation, smooth.

Bottle from a trade. Thanks Taboada! Dark brown/black colour, brown foam. Very roasty, lots of coffee along with vanilla notes. Lots of vanilla, a bit too sweet but not bad.

Tasting with Višnja 666, September 2017. Bottle. Black with a tan head. Roasty, coffee, wood, cherry, artificial vanilla. Roasty and dry. Thick, medium body, light to moderate finish.

Tap@Brewskival 2018, Helsingborg - black pour with a tan head. Roasted and sweet malty with rich chocolate, caramel and toffee sweet notes, some coffee roast, medium to full body, some burnt malty charred accents, dark roasted malty finish.

Fat på Brewskival, fredag. Svart med gräddigt och krämigt beiget skum. Ganska rejält rostat och nästan lite brända toner av bränt gummi jämte lakritstoffee, vanilj, salmiak, choklad, kaffe. Hade gärna fått vara mer av både vaniljen och kakaon för att balansera upp smakerna. Helt ok.
