Ops-Ale, or our legendary luxury lager! A deliciously hoppy and sunny golden yellow lager that guarantees an extraordinarily intimate taste intermezzo. Our Ops-Ale has long been a family specialty. Brewed with water from our own soil, with the same hops and yeast all these years. The result: a refreshing bottom fermentation thirst quencher with a top tradition. Ops-Ale was first brewed between 1937 and 1940.

Bottled@Fonefan. Pale golden colour, not much head. Aroma is malts, hops and some saltwatery notes and Belgoyeast. Flavour uis quite much the same with some slight sweetish notes of something I can’t get my finger on.

Bottled. Clear pale yellow. Buttery malt aroma. Medium sweet, soft and easy going, fairly light bodied and low on hops. Low biterness. Good refreshing buttery lager.

Bottle: Poured an amber to pale color with a white head. The aroma was malt and overpowering perfume or fermentated fruit. The flavor was a bit bitter and earth tons. Ordinary drinking beer and rated as such!

Pale gold; small off-white head leaving textbook lace. Soja-like nose, even soja shoots, and steamed rice + sweet grain in the nose. Basmate rice flavour!! Sweet, and just a hint of hops, fast gone. Crisp, though not like a maize beer would be. Not bad - and the Basmati rice flavour is an aroma, not an adjunct! Special name for a lager.

(Bottle 25 cl) Surprisingly pale amber (for a "Speciale") with a tall, pretty head. Slight perfumy touch, with a pronounced maltiness. High drinkability - will also appeal to pils-drinkers. 171297
