Glass at Hill Farmstead
A - Brown reddish with a bit of orange, hazy with a lot of lacing ion a 3 finger off-white head.
S - The nose is interesting, IT’s certainly not the standard HF aroma. Oatmeal, chocolate, pine and grain.
T - Has an english beer sort of profile in taste though. The finish is very bitter almost medicinal. Up front there’s this really good sweetness, orange peel, herbs, almost creamy then that fades to a latex plastic taste.
M - It does have that very classic HF mouthfeel
O - Hate to say it but this probably one of the worst HF beers I’ve had. not bad but I’m gonna order an Edward next. My friend said "if this was my first HF beer, I’m not sure I’d be so stoked about this place. What is this?"
