This unique India Pale Ale features our favorite hops—Simcoe®, Amarillo® and Nugget. A generous Amarillo and Simcoe dry hop provide for an assertive, hop-forward nose and front palate. We don’t use traditional bittering hops in our IPA, providing nothing but stimulating citrus and floral characteristics.

Inspired by a recipe from our good friend and fellow homebrewer Tim from the North Shore Homebrewers Club.

355ml bottle [8.2%abv]. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting and lacing, off-white head. Piney, slightly resinous and minimally fruity, hoppy aroma, cautious hints of orange, notes of coniferes in general, a touch of peanut, minimally cheesy as well. Taste is piney hoppy, slightly bitter, minimally sweet caramel malty basis with a nuttily touch, hints of peanut, dry, woody hints of coniferes, green wood, woodruff, a cautious touch of mint. Green, herbal, woody, catches the vernal reawakening of nature in the forest.

Bottle. Earthy/funky orange malt and grapefruit peel aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet earthy barnyard orange malt and moderately bitter pine/grapefruit peel flavor. Great blending. One of the best bottled IPAs I’ve had in quite a while.
