Spanish interpretation of Münchener Dunkel with very stable, yellowish, beige, regular head and clear, very dark burgundy colour. Malt sweetness in the nose, a bit stout-like too, chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, dried leaves, iron. Rounded, smooth, bit oily palate, sufficient body, sweet malts (nuts, caramel, chocolate), bit metallic, finish somewhat thin but with roasted bitterness and spicy hops. Actually quite good, though closer to a Schwarzbier than to a real Dunkel.

33cl bottle. Near black, thick brown head. Potato, toasted malt in aroma. Flavor has that same potato starch, coffee notes, metal, roasted malt. Slightly sweet finish. Drinkable, but borderline. Can’t remember having a beer with potato notes this up front before. Watery.

Flaska från SB. Rödbrun vätska med liten skumkrona. Fruktig arom med toner av fikon. Överraskande karamellig smak som sedan övergår i chokladiga toner. Mjuk munkänsla.

Bottle, smallish head, dark brown colour with red hues, aroma of dark bread with some coffee and caramel, roasted grain flavour with some hay, caramel and a hint of dirt, quite dry. Not too complex but clean and satisfying.

Dark brown coloured body with a light tan head. Aroma of nuts, earth, copper, caramel and a touch of vanilla. Medium-bodied; Strong nutty and caramel flavours at first with a subdued maltiness and a light sweetness. Aftertaste shows a bunch of hazlenut flavour, some light metal and a touch of earth. Overall, a pretty nice dark lager with a good sweetness and a relatively mild maltiness and nothing assertive or bitter about this at all! I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased a few minutes ago at SuperTOT in Barcelona, Spain on 15-April-2014 for €0,90 sampled in my hotel here in Barcelona on 15-April-2014.

Pours out with a dark brown, almost black color and an average tan head with medium retention. The moderate roasted aroma is complemented by some coffee and caramel. The taste is expected - slightly sweet at first, followed by roastiness and bittery taste in the end. There’s also a slight taste of coffee present. Smooth and drinkable beer. Nice one.
