Bottle at home. Aroma is roasted malt, cocoa, chocolate, touch of pine tree, liquorice, hint of fruits and hops, touch of coffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Pine is not as strong as I expected, but that’s okay, this is a very agreeable Porter.

Keg at GBBF ’16, day 2, 10/08/16. Murky light black with a minimal tan cap that dissipates to nothing. Nose is light roast, chocolate, spice, earthy. Taste comprises toffee, cocoa powder, light roast malts, peppery spice, fruit whisper. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Average porter fayre.

From tap @ Arendsnest, 15 cl. Not quite black color. Thick beige head, dense, but also big bubbles. Aroma’s: roasted, light drop/laurel/bay leaves. Retronasal it’s roasted, sweetish, drop, light salty, light fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet, light roasted. Medium bodied. Finishes roasted, but rather mild, slightly dry, but only light bitter.
