33cl bottle. Black with a head with small bubbles, off-white and good duration. Aroma has roasted mals notes, licorice and black coffee. Flavor is coffee, licorice, roasted and burnt malts. The final is slightly bittery with a good duration. Carbonation and body are medium.

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki (old backlog, thanks for sharing Mankke & co). Quite much coca cola colour with a small slightly off-white head. Leaves some lace. Aroma is some roasted malts, mild tart wooden notes along with some ashy and toffeeish notes. Flavour is rather similar, but has some quite tart wooden and berryish notes as well.

Bottle shared by nickls at the 5/7/11 DC Ratebeer gathering. Pours a clear reddish brown color with a medium sized creamy head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of chocolate, faint roasted malts and a tart berry finish. The taste is roasted malts and a tart finish. Thin bodied.

Bottle courtesy onystrom. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, milk, chocolate, coffee and hops.

Bottle. Courtesy Onystrom. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Almost black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter sweet and slightly roasted flavor. Moderate bitter average finish. Oily palate.

Polypin @ 3 Judges. Light yellow colour, some bubbles. aroma is sweet apple, applejuice, syrup. flavour is very sweet apple juice, no carbonation, no sourness, no yeast. Very sweet finish.
Rerate: bottle from Peckhams. The bottled version is still quite sweet, but medium carbonated, so better balanced. Alcohol well noticable. +.5

Bottle @ Copenhaniacs tasting, Pt. 1. Pours black with a small creamy lasting head. Nose is sweet and roasted. Some dough , caramel and chocolate. Medium and smooth palate.

Bottle 330ml.Clear dark black brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, nutty notes, light coffee, chocolate notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100314]

Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and a bit of chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, nuts, cocoa, and malt, leading to a dry cocoa finish.

clear dark brown almost no head. faint sweet aroma. flavor is roasted grains, flowery hops, nicely balanced but not much flavor.
