Bottle. Almost black, caramel, licorice and soft whisky notes in the aroma. Full bodied. Fat Malty sweet flavor with Dominating whisky. Hints of licorice and caramel behind the whisky. Raisin. Low on carbon. Excellent but Not very Subtle.

Bottle shared in Columbus - cheers to Dan the Osprey. Pours deep brown with a foamy, tan head. Mild oxidation, a bit of smoke, ash, earth, leathery berries. Medium sweet flavour with notes of dry torched wood, brown sugar, ash, alcohol. Meidum to full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, some booze, more ash, cocoa, a little peat, smoke. Fun stuff. Rich but well rounded.

330 ml bottle. Pours black with light foamy tan head. Aromas of clean green oak whisky barrels, black coffee vanilla and dry roasted malts. Flavors follow same with additional dusty chocolate and subtle dry whisky. Complex with lots of depth and subtlety. Typical brilliant Kees. (2016 project rated in 2018)

Boozy, woody, fairly bitter, loads of whisky, excellent balance. Little bit of smoke. Tiny bit thin, though.
