Caña en el señor Lupulo Gijón 05..11..2016. (r36). Color negro intenso con poca o casi nada de espuma beige oscuro. Aromas y sabores intensos maltas tostadas ligeramente carbonizadas. Toques finales licorosos y vinos acabando todo con suave amargo seco. Cuerpo medio a intenso. Buena sensación alcohólica no muy densa y poca espuma. Bastante buena. Para repetir sin duda.

From tap at Chinaski Lavapies, Madrid. Black color with brown small head. Malty aroma, roasted, wood, alcohol, dark fruits, dried fruits, chocolate, cocoa, licorice. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, toffee, light smoke, taste is sweet, liquorice, chewy, chocolate, toffee.

330ml bottle, from trade with MonsterMagnet. Many thanks chap! Pours dark brown, tan head. Meaty smokey woody aroma. Continues to taste with a nice hint of sorachi to lift the mood a bit. Great BA stout.

Bottle @ home. Opaque black color, average sized brown head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is malts, liquor, light coffee, roast. Taste malts, dark malts, booze, licht chocolate and mocha, liquor. Medium body, (a little too?) low carbonation.

Bottle at skortila from Van Pernis. Black coloured with a brown head. Nose roasted malts, coffee, marhsmallows. Flavour is roasted malts and coffee. Fairly alcoholic. Some sweetness.

Bottle thx to Bullit, small sample. Dark color, short frothy head. Aroma of booze, roast, sweet candy, mocha. Bit alcoholic in taste, wood, whisky, roasty bitterness. I dont get the high scores.

schenkt stroperig pikzwart met mooie plakkerige licht bruine lacing, aroma van chocolade, mout, alcohol, whisky, turf, geroosterde mout, vanille, hout, zoet, fruit. smaken evenzo, vrij dik mondgevoel, mooie zachte maar toch duidelijk aanwezige turf, medium bitter, matig tot redelijk zoet, mocca, vanille, hout, whisky is stevig en goed aanwezig, donker fruit, laurier, volle body, gewoon erg lekker dit.

Pours rather viscously to a small dark beige rim over jet-black beer. Liquorice, shoe polish, coffee, treacle, vanilla, rather sweet ànd aromatic. Alcohol and fusels. Sweet , coffee, sweet alcohol and vanilla, even Dame Blanche (vanilla ice-cream with chocolate sauce). Long chocolate notes in the aftertaste. Serious alcoholwarming, very rich, voluptuous MF, long-lasting. Really good one. Txs, Kees!

33cl bottle, at home. Dark brown pour with a thin dark tan head. Smells like chocolate, cherries, peat, roasted malts and cocoa. The taste follows the same notes, heavy on the dark chocolate and roasted malts with cherries, vanilla, coffee, light peat and alcohol following. Full body, light carbonation with a roasty bitter-sweet aftertaste.
