Blond ale, top-fermenting, brewed following tradional method.
Viven Blond is a continuation of the original, unique recipe that started it all in 1999. The blonde Viven is a nice companion to many dishes and salads. It is a real thirst quencher. Viven Blond is a little bit of summer in your glass!

Bottle from FinestBelgianBeers. Pours a slightly hazy golden/amber colour with a large thick foamy white head. Nice lacing. Aromas of bananas, cloves and hints of apples, floral and spice. Taste has more floral and spice, light citrus notes with a grassy hop finish. Medium bodied, a fair amount of carbonation on the palate with a fruity and grassy hop aftertaste. A slightly above average Belgian blonde.

Bottle. Blonde, hazy, huge frothy head. Firm hopbitter flavor with a touch of citrus and some earthiness. Citrus, vanilla and flowery hops in the aroma. Nice one!

Saturday 2nd Feb 2019. Huis De Cluuse, Brugge. 33cl bottle into the correct glass. Golden body, white crown. Uncomplicated Blond (for Belgium) with a light citrus leaning within the yeasty aroma and taste. I must admit I expected more from a Viven beer as they have been really interesting before; this is really a 'run of the Mill' Blond without anything to get excited about.

33cl from a supermarket in Brussels city centre. A pale amber pour with a loose white head; yeasty aroma; floral taste with some fruit and yeast; then a dry finish with a touch of warming spice.
