Blond ale, top-fermenting, brewed following tradional method.
Viven Blond is a continuation of the original, unique recipe that started it all in 1999. The blonde Viven is a nice companion to many dishes and salads. It is a real thirst quencher. Viven Blond is a little bit of summer in your glass!

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (19/08/2017) - pours hazy gold with a white head. Sweet malty and fruity, some citrus fruit, yeasty, medium body, some notes of banana with spices into the finish.

Bottle Plays nice with beef stew. Certainly Viven became one of my favorite breweries.

Hazy medium golden colour, tall frothy white head, fairly lasting, heavy lacing. Aroma grain, caramel, orange peel, yeast, floral hops, some honey, spicy notes. Taste medium sweet and bitter, grainy, yeasty, light caramel, bit orange peel. Mild bitter aftertaste, yeasty and spicy notes (coriander, pepper), medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice blond but not so good as other Viven beers, lacks some character.

Bottle from Van Alsem, at home. Heerlijk honing zoet moutig blondje. Erg smaakrijk en olieachtig in de mond! Backlog from 2015/03/06.
