Bottle, warmed. Deep ruby liquid with medium pinkish white head. Aroma of cinnamon, almonds, cherries, raw sugar, cloves and lemon. Taste is light sweet and light to medium sour with notes of cinnamon, cardamom, gingerbread, raw sugar, lemon and light vinegar. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. A pretty nice gluhwein substitute.

Draught and warmed up at the Weihnachtsmarkt in Schwelm. Clear, dark red with a thick, creamy, stable, reddish-white head. Heavy aroma of cherries, Glühwein, cinnamon and red wine. Awesome taste that is medium sweet and slightly sour with lots of cherries, Glühwein, cinnamon and red wine. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, no carbonation. What a nice experience. Much better than a simple Glühwein. Compared to other fruit beers, it was probably so good because it was warmed up.

Heated in tap@Erzbierschof. Dark amber color with hardly any head. Aroma is sour cherries and spices, you can feel the Kriek basis. Taste is not as full as expected, but still nice with spices and fruitiness, similar to a Glühwein. Something different for a beer in winter, but cannot compete with a proper Kriek.

Bottle from Systembolaget, I tried this beer both cold and heated to 70 degrees Celsius. The rating is for the cold one. (I prefered that), Hazy reddish with a medium head. Quite a lot of cherries, spices (mainly cinnamon). Also something that reminded of lingonberries. Some light tartness in the finish. Medium carbonation. An ok beer although on the sweet side.

Forbausende bra!

12.04.2014, 0,75l bottle @ home:
Served cold:

Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is very sweet fruity, sugar, lots of sweet cherries, caramel malts, berry skin, grass. Taste is very sweet, sugar, artificial sweet cherries, caramel malts, hints of cinnamon. Little bitterness, sweet slightly syrupy mouthfeel. Fair enough, to sweet.
Served warm:
Small creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet and spiced, berry skin, hay, paper, slightly fresh cherries, burnt caramel, sugar. Taste is slightly sour-ish fruity, sour cherries, berry skin, grass, burnt caramel, spices, sugar. Medium bitterness and acidity, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice enough.
All in all, the aroma is best when served cold, but it’s just too sweet. Taste is best when served warm, but the the aroma then falls apart.
