Standard pilsner. You know the drill, a little bitter, a little malty. Drink it for the tick.

30 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ Mitra. Golden colour with a white head. Sweet grainy aroma with some faint hops. Bitter taste but overall a bit too watery. Decent but boring pilsener.

Draught (Harvest Home, Stockholm) - Golden with lively carbonation and a white head. Malty aroma with hints of hops and lemon. Malty and grainy taste with some faint citrus hints. Drinkable and fairly refreshing, but nothing outstanding.

Originally rated January 2006. Into a classic American pilsner glass, it pours a pale yellow colour, with no carbonation, but at least, a nice white creamy-looking head. Its retention is decent, and some lacing is left. Good typical pils nose, with some grain malt and clean hops. Watery mouthfeel, with a slight creaminess. Taste is actually not good at all, with a lingering mix of mish-mash vegetables and metallic notes. Hardly any hoppy punch. Some malt is found in there, but just a horrible pils.

Nothing exciting on this one. Standard pilsener color, 2cm white head. Normal smell, average carbo. Boring.

Poured from tap into a nice, slim glass at Kitty’s in Helsinki. Shared with Matti. Airy, white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Clear, straw-gold body. Faint aroma of grass. Mild taste profile with sweet fruits and pale malts. Oily palate. Soft and clean drinking (Helsinki, 06.02.2011).

(Draught at Kitty’s, Helsinki - shared with Rune) The beer poured very pale golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass and cooking oil. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, mildly malts and quite low bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter. An easily drinkable beer that’s even easier to forget.
