Clear golden with a tiny white head. Sweet malty aroma with hints of caramel. Sweet malty flavour with caramel and hoppy notes that gave it a dry and bitter finish.

Buddel:Pale yellow coloured, small firm white head; a trace of almonds(!) - presumably prussic acid - in the grainy-dusty aroma, faint grassy-bitter background; light sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied as well; short light grainy-grassy finish. Drab, thinnish brew.......

33cl bottle of "Budels Lager Beer", made with organic malt and hops, from Tesco, Camberley. Straw with a ring of white head and light carbonation; aroma of musty hay; clean malty taste, but an odd plasticy finish. Not good.

On tap @ my faculty, Budels is our sponsor. Too bad I can’t say anything really nice about their beers. Very metallic, malty and bittersweet tasting lager. Smell is bad. Tastes a lot better from a cold bottle. Worst headaches ever from this stuff. Could also have been the quantity of course...

33cl bottle from Tesco. Pale gold lager with thin white head. Grassy vegetal aroma. Interesting lager. Some cucumber. It’s an alright lager, but a bit too vegetal for me.
