On tap @ my faculty, Budels is our sponsor. Too bad I can’t say anything really nice about their beers. Very metallic, malty and bittersweet tasting lager. Smell is bad. Tastes a lot better from a cold bottle. Worst headaches ever from this stuff. Could also have been the quantity of course...

33cl bottle from Tesco. Pale gold lager with thin white head. Grassy vegetal aroma. Interesting lager. Some cucumber. Itβs an alright lager, but a bit too vegetal for me.

Bottled (BB 05/2007)
Clear golden color, small white head. Strong grassy hoppy nose - kind of cheap and ashy. Sweetish malty flavor - corn-like sweetness. Grassy hoppyness. "El cheapo" feeling.

[Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival] Clear golden. Dry with medium body. Nice bready soft malt together a wealth of grassy hops makes this a pleasant little pilsener.

(Bottle 30 cl) Pale pilsener golden with a small, creamy, white head. Lightly sweet, malty nose. Rather light body, somewhat watery, but still with a decent malty feel and a solid hoppiness. Weak metallic edge. Quite a fresh pilsener. 121205

A pale yellow beer with a small disappearing white head. The aorma is sweet malty with some hoppy notes - and so is the flavor.

Light gold colour. Light herbal/fruity hop aroma with bready malts underneath. Flavour is moderately light, leaning towards sweetness, with an even balance between herbal hops and bready malts.

Bottle: Poured an extremely pale yellow beer with no head or carbonation. There is no aroma whatsoever and this taste like sweetened water. This only good feeling out of this is that Iβm now finish with my six pack sampler from the Budels brewery and it seems like I kept the worst one for the end.

Light yellow in colour, with almost no head and little carbonation. Initial skunk whiff floowed by corny malt. Sickly sweet mouthfeel with light hops. Watery body. LCBO, why bother bringing this in???
