10/9/9/9/10/9

Bottle. Color: Golden, white head. Taste: Principle just what it says: An abbey tripel with brett. The tripel is medium bodied, under medium sweet with fruity notes, apricot. Some hints of the oak aging. Unfortunately the tripel taste is overpowering the brett. Because of that, at first note this beer is like a 'clumsy' tripel. I like experiences with brett, but this one is just not doing the trick. Not too bad, but not memorable either. Keep experimenting...

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 29 July 2017) Golden colour with creamy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with soft malt, dried fruit and some spicy yeast. Malty, fruity taste with soft malt, peaches, pineapple, bread, oak wood and a sweetish finish with a gentle spicy bitterness. Almost full body, with a sweetish finish. Interesting and quite tasty with gentle brett notes. Quite nice.

At Brett Fest 2017. Golden pour. Aroma of grainy malt, soft tart and grassyness. Taste has lots butter, this one cleary has diacetyl. Also grainy malt and some yeast, no brett actually. Has some failures.

Don't think the brett fully works with this. Bit acidic, but with an unpleasant taste and mouthfeel. Still good job for trying, keep it up!
