A darker premium bitter, well-hopped but with a smooth mouthfeel. A complex balance of malts gives a well-rounded flavour.

Cask @ Akkurat. Interesting mix of nutty, rather dark flavors and a dark, almost blueberry-like fruitiness. Drinkable and well made. Served in perfect condition.

Many thanks to thirstybird for this bottle! Smooth and slightly grainy nose. Nice intense bitter beginning. Fresh caramel, the bitterness gets more intense to the middle, refreshing with caramelly hints in the aftertaste. Full-bodied, round and great!

Navigation Tavern Spring Beer Festival 2016. Clear chestnut coloured ale with a thick creamy head. Light tasting and smooth, with a mild nutty flavour that lingers. It’s more malty in its nose, but the nut influence is still here.

(Cask at Akkurat, 20160324) The beer poured deep mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was small and white and it lasted long. Aroma had malts, roasted nuts and earth. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were earth, malts, roasted nuts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A pleasant solid bitter.
