On cask at the Bow Bar. Appearance - amber with a nice head. Nose - earthy and lots of apple. Dry but not so much biscuit aa preferred. Taste - apples and dry malt notes. Palate - light to medium bodied, with a dry texture and a long dry finish. A bit unbalanced. Overall - solid but not worth a revisit.

Cask @ Cross Keys, Covent Garden. Clear copper with a tiny white head. Scent of fresh grass, bitter lemon, spruce and witch hazel. Fruity bittersweet initial taste gives way to a long super-bitter finish. Bitterness still with me long after the pint is gone. Thus has bags if character for 4%, and while the โenough IBUs to kill a horseโ style of brewing is not my cup of tea, there is no denying that this is an incredible product.

Cask @ Old Coffee House, London. Hazy dark amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - peach. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate biter finish. 250413

Cask at the Old Coffee House, 18/01/13. Clear mid brown with a good bubbly off white head that retains well. Nose carries light hop tones, malt, Germoline, light metallicnotes. Taste comprises light orchard fruit, biscuit malt, caramel, leafy hops. Medium body, soft carbonation, bitterness and some hop presence in the finish. A decent enough bitter.

Cask @ King William IV, Leyton E10. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with weak hoppy hints. Fruity malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with weak hoppy hints.
