500 ml. bottle split by 2 @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Pours very dark wooden brown with lots of mocha bubbles for a head. Smell of sweet chocolate bubblegum, chocolate syrup, mocha, chocolate, simple & sweet but very enjoyable and the same really goes for the taste. Tastes like mocha, sweet milk chocolate, chocolate bubblegum, lots of chocolate syrup, sugar, cocoa, huge vanilla, this is like drinking chocolate milk (incl. body), simple, easy & very enjoyable.

Cask @ White Horse, Nicholson’s, Soho W1. Pours a dark ruby brown black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty strong vanilla aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and sweetish vanilla flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and vanilla finish.

Appearance: Deep brown color with a small tan head that leaves some lacing.
Aroma: Vanilla, some roasted malt and mild dark malt.
Palate: Medium body. Mild round sweetness, and a moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation. Oily texture.
Taste: Strong vanilla, some roasted malt and mild dark malt.
Overall impression: Weird at start, then I just fell in love with it. Just like a symphony.

50cl bottle, BB 08/2013. Brune claire, col fin beige. Arôme est subtile avec un bouquet ravissant de gousse de vanille, note malté noisette, café grillé. Un vrai régal. Palais est léger, malté grillé, finement chocolaté et torréfié qui alterne avec ce côté vanillé très onctueux. Belle effervescence, un peu sèche et grains et une amertume qui reste discrète apportant juste une fine note citronnée. Une autre preuve que l’on peu brasser du très bon avec une bière sous les 5%.

Has a strong vanilla smell and a bit of citrus that is odd for a porter. There’s a little malty must as well. Pours a light black or dark brown, shines red in light. Palate is very light - this beer is mostly in the smell. Taste has some bitterness but it’s pretty light overall. Nice head with some decent lacing.

Bottle: Poured a clear dark black color porter with a large slightly off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light dry coffee with nice vanilla notes. Taste is a great balanced mix between some light roasted malt notes with light dry coffee with no astringency and some lactose notes with perfect notes of vanilla. Body is bit thin but considering the ABV that could be expected with good carbonation. Very well brewed with great complexity while retaining good drinkability factor.
