On a quest to brew a witbier chock full of flavor, Namaste White digs deep into our culinary roots using ingredients of dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass, peppercorns and a bit of coriander for a refreshing and sessionable experience.

Bottle - Hay, lemon grass, ginger, yeast and some spices on the nose. Pale clear yellow with a think head. Tastes quite similar to the smell, with some very light pleasant bitterness. A great beer in league with Sorachi Ace and Blanche de Chambly.

On draft at church key in DC. Pours a cloudy gold with a white head. Citrusy aroma. Watered down lemonade with a bit of coriander Mellow finsih..

Bottled at SBWF. Cloudy golden, small head. Aroma of fruit, paper, citrus and coriander. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and lager-like. Low bitterness. Not that refreshing.

Bottled@SBWF2012. Hazy yellow colour with a small white creamy white head. Aroma is citrus, some wheat, mild sour wooden notes as well as some spicyness. Flavour is rather similar with a quite tart finish.

Bottle. Musty yeast, coriander, lemon/orange and wheat malt aroma - very pleasant. Hazy pale yellow with giant white head. Lightly sweet lemon, coriander and light wheat malt flavor. Light body but nice balance.

Sample @ Stockholm Beer & Whisky 2012. Pours very hazy deep yellow with a frothy white head that is rather quick to dissipate while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and perfume-like with crackers, cloves, biscuits, banana, fruity esters, coriander, lemon zest, dry wood and white pepper. Taste is sweet, malty and yeasty with white bread, crackers, banana, cloves, candi sugar, lemon zest and coriander. Mouthfeel is smooth, round, tiny tart and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny bitter and tiny sour with crackers, hay, lemon zest, coriander and hints of banana bread. A nice thirst-quencher.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled in 2012 C. Pours very hazy golden amber color with a nice 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Some nice soapy lacing clings to the glass, with a fair amount of carbonation streaming up. Aromas of big lemon, orange peel, clove, pepper, herbal, coriander, wheat, earth, grass, and yeast spiciness. Very nice and well balanced aromas with good complexity. Very pleasant and enjoyable. Taste of lemon, orange zest, clove, grass, pepper, coriander, wheat, earth, and yeast spices. Light wheat tang on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, coriander, wheat, clove, pepper, grass, earth, and yeast spices on the finish for a short bit. Fairly dry on the finish as expected. Nice flavor balance and complexity; with a nice level of flavors. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a slightly slick, crisp, and prickly mouthfeel that is very nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with pretty much zero warming noticed at all. Overall this is simply just an excellent witbier. Great flavor balance and complexity; and extremely smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

Bottle: Poured a dirty yellow color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of coriander and solid wheat malt with just the right amount of lemongrass is very enticing. Taste is a great mix between some coriander and slightly sweet wheat malt with good notes of lemongrass which really works well into the mix. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Really enjoyed this one with great amount of wheat malt and lemongrass bringing something unique to this mix.

Hazy gold amber beer, little white head. Light and very dry palate. Dry lemongrass and a whisper of lime citrus. A little creamyness creeps in but this is a pretty dry beer and I don’t do very dry.
