On a quest to brew a witbier chock full of flavor, Namaste White digs deep into our culinary roots using ingredients of dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass, peppercorns and a bit of coriander for a refreshing and sessionable experience.

Originally brewed in tribute to our friends at 3 Fonteinen Brewery in Belgium after a devastating setback to their business in 2009, Namaste White is a witbier bursting with good karma.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, toasted and light spiced. Smooth fruity, toasted malty and light spiced. Bitter and light herbal into a mild soapy finish.

Bottle from Bo Brooks’ Lighthouse Liquors, Baltimore. Slightly hazy gold, with no head. Some white pepper, coriander and tart fruits, with solid malts and a gentle finish. Fine.

Hazy pale light yellow. Fizzy and a quick white head. Very failt bland tart wheat flavors. Some off notes that i supppose is intentional. Not a fan.

cloudy yellow color with small head. Typical Wit beer aromas, you can smell the orange peel and the spices. Some freshness of the lemongrass maybe? On the tongue you really taste he spices. Well-balanced, light body, good wit beer, just like it should be.

Bottle from Harvest Market Hazy light straw color with a huge fluffy white head. Aromas of earthy funk with a hint of sulfur. Lemony citrus and a hint of spice rounds out the nose. Sweet tart orange citrusy flavor with hint so earth and spice. Medium to light body with spritzy carbonation. Easily drinkable beer, I kind of wish I had tried this when the weather was a bit warmer

12 ounce bottle. Hazy light gold color. Small fluffy white head. Aroma is slightly citrus with notes of hay and white peppercorns. Flavor is light dryish wheat malt with a touch of coriander and citrus hops. Light bodied and refreshing.

12 oz bottle. Pours a very slightly hazy yellow with light head. Aromas of lemongrass, perfume, and honey, with additional hard to define floral notes. Flavors of coriander, citrus, and light candied fruit. Very quenching. At 4.8% I could drink this all day.

12oz bottle from Wegman’s, West Seneca, NY. A hazy pale amber pour with a thin white head; rather subdued aroma; but much fuller flavour, with concentrated orange, yeast and coriander; and a dry floury finish. Not quite a typical Witbier, but a close approximation.
