Pours clear dark brown with a medium sized beige head, good lacing. Aroma of caramel, nutmeg and spices. Taste of toasted malts, caramel, cinnamon, mild chocolate with bitterness in the finish
A decent Pumpkin beer, not overpowering.

Bottle shared by Joes. Brown colour, small off-white head. Smells boullion, herbs, apple pie, cinnamon. Tastes cinnamon, apple pie, sweet. Thin body, watery, nice carbo.

Pours mahogany into a tumbler. White head with medium retention recedes leaving no lacing. Nutmeg and pumpkin aromas. Sweet dark caramel and candy corn and nutmeg.

Can from CBB, this poured a much darker color than I had imagined rather than the reddish-brown I expected it was a dark brown with a thick dirty beige looking head that only reveals reddish accents when held up to the light. Quite a spicy aroma with some of the apple cinnamon quality to it but there are enough other spices coming through to keep it in the realm of pumpkin pie. Medium-thin bodied with a relatively smooth mouthfeel. The taste is maltiness giving it somewhat of a cookie-ish pie crust character then the spices and pumpkin come into play giving you that full on pie experience. Looking at the ingredients I am surprised to discover it is made with chocolate as well! Pretty good a bit more spic than I want but it is fairly evenly balanced and has enough surprises to keep me drinking.

Can to goblet. Auburn and chestnut colored pour with a finger of creamy ran head. Nutmeg is strong in the nose, also cloves and pumpkin. Pumpkin up front in the taste, followed by a lesser amount of spices. The norm for pumpkin spices; cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, etc. Personally, I like the spices being toned down. Seems like a little cocoa in there too and a sweetness that I associate with honey. Rich mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of spice with some sweet grains and a touch of pumpkin. Flavor starts with grain and bread with a bit of pumpkin and a growing spice note.

Dark amber color with thick head. Moderate spicy aroma, stronger spicy flavor; caramel flavor too, mostly dry, lightly fruity.

12 oz. bottle purchased at Julio’s Liquors. Very dark amber with full lasting white head. Aroma is the standard nuance of nutmeg, caramel, nutmeg and earthy malts. Maybe a tone of English malts.

I would call this more a fall brew rather then a pumpkin brew, not much in the flavor of real pumpkin. All along the spice and dirty/ earthy malt tones. Most of the flavor is nutmeg and cinnamon. Nothing makes me want to purchase this again. I don’t see anything that makes it sand above any other in the style.

Pour is a dark cola brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a nice spice with nutmeg and cinnamon. Flavor is more of a toffee malt with some earth and the spice is minor and kinda gets in the way of the heavy malt used. Kinda like a spiced brown ale. It’s ok if you don’t really like a heavily spice beer but still want something for fall this would be for you.
