With a brilliant, deep copper hue and creamy beige-colored head, our Fall Hornin’ Pumpkin Ale has inviting aromas of caramelized malt and baking bread with highlights of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and seasonal spices. The pleasantly creamy mouthfeel and silky body embrace the sweet caramel flavors and tang of spices (with just hint of hops) that ends in a smooth, round finish.

Amber color with small tan head. Aroma is cloves, lebkuchen, pumpkin spices, nutmeg and vanilla. Taste is similar, with a bit of caramel. Nice carbonation. Nice stuff!

12 fl oz bottle from De Bierkoning, bottled in July 2015. Clear, deep red with a medium large, creamy, almost stable, tan head. Fruity-spicy aroma of cinnamon, redcurrant, elderberries and plums. Sweetish, fruity-spicy taste of cinnamon, toffee, elderberries, plums and raisins, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter finish with lots of cinnamon. Medium body, creamy and slightly oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Well-balanced, malt-accented ale with a huge load of cinnamon. Didn’t really get the pumpkin which is supposed to be good I think. Since I like cinnamon, I enjoyed this beer a lot!

This pumpkin ale poured a dark Amber with a big, beautiful, tan head. Scents include trace pumpkin, a little spice and malt. First swig was of medium carbonation with flavours of allspice, pumpkin pie and cinnamon. Finish was a little bitter with the allspice lingering...

American pumpkin ale - a style I only recently learned to appreciate - with yellowish light beige, creamy, nicely lacing head and dark brownish purple colour, like an old red wine. Perfumey aroma makes me happy immediately: pleasant and a bit frivolous, with impressions of cloves, milk chocolate bars, butterscotch, pumpkin pie, toast, hazelnut oil, dried ginger, cinnamon, mango. Fruity, crisp onset with medium carbonation, sweetish but rapidly turning spicy, cloves and ginger abounding and stretching till deep into the finish, with a drying, even somewhat sharp effect; in between, a sweet, toasted, nutty and caramelly maltiness reigns, soft and slick, bready. Finish encompasses not only the drying, resinous spiciness, but also a good deal of peppery hop bitterness, as well as a hint of warming alcohol. Wish I had this in autumn... Based on the aroma, I expected a sweeter and much less bitter taste, but once you get used to its spicy sharpishness and unexpected hop bitterness, this becomes quite agreeable and characterful. Very pleasant little beer!

12oz bottle. Poured a clear copper color with a large, foamy white head. Aroma was plenty of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, light gourd notes. Flavor was okay malty notes, light pumpkin pie character.

A fair whack of cinnamon, pepper and pumpkin in the aroma. Awful sweet spice mix in the flavour. Lingering sweet aftertaste. Loads of cinnamon. Undrinkable.

rood/bruin met schuimige bruine kraag. aroma van pompoen, speculaas en wat zoetig. smaken zijn redelijk zoet, matig bitter, licht zuurtje, normaal qua sterkte, redelijk pompoenfruit, matig moutig, ambermout, pepertje, kaneel. iets aan de dunne kant, bittertje blijft iets te lang hangen, neigende later naar iets metaligs. smaken zijn verder goed, maar had over het algemeen iets voller en robuuster gemogen van mij --- Beer merged from original tick of Fall Hornin' on 17 May 2018 at 15:31 - Score: 7

Bottle. Cooper brown beer, small head. Aroma of pumpkin and cinnamon. Taste of brown malt, spicy pumpkin and cinnamon. Bit flat, needs more body and aftertaste.

12 oz bottle from Imbibe Wine. Nose is light nutmeg and cinnamon and a hint of cocoa. Clear rusty brown with a small beige head. Flavor is pumpkin pie spices and caramel. Very mediocre pumpkin ale. Glad I only bought one $2 bottle not a sixer or case!
