With a brilliant, deep copper hue and creamy beige-colored head, our Fall Hornin’ Pumpkin Ale has inviting aromas of caramelized malt and baking bread with highlights of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and seasonal spices. The pleasantly creamy mouthfeel and silky body embrace the sweet caramel flavors and tang of spices (with just hint of hops) that ends in a smooth, round finish.

(Draught at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam, 19 Feb 2016) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, herbal nose with notes of roasted malt, vegetables and celery. Malty, herbal taste with chocolate, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and a gentle spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. A bit too much pumpkin for me, but it tastes better than the nose suggests. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Clear red-brown color, small off-white to beige head. Horrible aroma of sugar, sweetness, (Dutch) "speculaas". Taste lightly malts, a bit sweet, some (Dutch) "gebakken balkenbrij" speculaas flavors. Weird, but drinkable.

On tap in Peter Rabbit & Friends. Pours reddish dark brown with short-lived tan head. Aroma is ginger, cinnamon, clove, rose, citrus. Taste starts sweetish, firm and fizzy. Great bitter finish. Quite nice winter ale.

Bottle - Lots of soapy pumpkin notes. Clearish dark brown with a decent white head. Pumpkin and spice with some Amber malts and more of those soapy notes. Not great.

12 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark orangey brown with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out very earthy pumpkin notes, cinnamon and nutmeg. Flavour is very dirty and earthy, with nutmeg, cinnamon, and earth. Very dirty and dry, with an earthy finish. Meh.

12fl.oz. bottle from 2015 Craft Beer Advent Calendar. Pours a clear mahogany with a large. long lasting, creamy, beige head that laces. Nice aroma of caramel malt, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove and bread. Sweet, spicy flavour of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, clove and caramel malt with a hint of hops in a tangy, dry, slightly bitter finish. Light to medium body with a creamy, oily texture and soft carbonation. Well done, as far as pumpkin ales go.
