Clear, deep golden-copper colored, medium off white head. Aroma is of malt and caramel, bit toasty, peach, medium- citrus and fruity hops. Taste is medium sweet malt, caramel, some toast to light roast, bit of citrus and fruity hops, medium- bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. Doesn't feel all that hoppy to be an IPA. Very reddish, lives up to its name as a red IPA. Floral taste thats reminiscent of a typical IPA. I liked the hops in this particular beer, well crafted beverage.

Pretty special little pint from Sierra Nevada, a big, piney, resinous hop bomb with a massive biscuit-n-caramel sweet spot at its center. Lemon, grapefruit, dank, earth, and pine all make their presence known immediately, but it's the gentle, subtly decadent malt base that steals the show, allowing the hops to do their thing before easy into a bittersweet, soothing fade. Pours a sultry red with a brief off-white head and modest lace. Pine and biscuit on the nose. Perky texture prevents the malts from growing cloy. Drinkable as hell. If Sierra Nevada'd only ditch the Tropical Torpedo that 4-Way IPA Mix Pack would be amazing.

(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of orange marmalade, apricots, toast, treacle-toffee, honey, pink grapefruit, caramel and floral hops. Fruity, malty taste with orange marmalade, apricots, grapefruit, honey, caramel, toast, toffee and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, fairly dry. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

2014 vuoden versio. Kuparinruskea, ehkä hieman punertava ja melko kirkas olut, joka vaahtoaa runsaalla kädellä. Beige vaahto on höttöistä ja reilusti pitsiä jättävää. Tuoksu mäntyinen/havuinen sekä kivasti pihkainen. Maku on kevyesti mäntyinen, pihkainen ja aavistuksen verran greippisen katkera. Myös karamellista makeutta tästä löytyy. Melkoinen hiilihappoisuus tuntuu hyökkäävän alussa, mutta hiilihappoisuus katoaa nopeasti. Suutuntuma keskitäyteläinen ja melko öljyinen. Jälkimaussa puumaista katkeroa. Paras terä tästä on varmaan jo taittunut, mutta toisaalta maistuu omaan suuhun hyvin näinkin oletettavasti hieman pehmeämpänä ja karamellimaisemman makeana. Tai sitten tämä on alunperinkin hieman pehmeämpi ja makeampi ipa.

Markáns, határozott keserűvel indĂt, ami mellĂ© vĂ©gig Ă©des-savanyĂş, intenzĂv gyĂĽmölcsössĂ©g társul, mandarinos, narancsos vezetĂ©ssel. UtĂłĂze hosszĂş, markáns keserűvel, határozott gyĂĽmölcsössĂ©ggel. Nagyszerű, közepesen testes, kiválĂłan csĂşszĂł, kifejezetten frissĂtĹ‘ nedű.
