Flipside is an easy-drinking IPA with the perfect balance between hops and malt. It features just enough smooth and slightly sweet malt body to support huge citrusy and tropical fruit-forward hop flavors from Simcoe, Citra, and Centennial hops.

355 ml bottle, in Nevada City. Reddish brown colour. Has the typical West Coast hop aroma and flavour, with notes of citrus and pine, but also some nice nutty notes from the malts, which contributes to a lovely balance. Another good beer from Sierra Nevada!

Bottle in pint glass. From Signal Variety Plaistow NH. Aroma is bread, dough, grass, hay. Appearance is beautiful clear reddish brown with very mild sparkle and less than finger-width beige head and minimal lacing. Taste is mix of sweet and bitter with bitter-dominant finish. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture and lively carbonation. Overall, not much hoppiness, which is odd, but more of a malty character which seems to fit the transition-to-fall theme well, nonetheless.

Appearance is a dark, ruby/brown, a two-finger beige foamy head which settles into half a finger. Clings a bit. Aroma- very fruity- orange and grapefruit, with hints of dark fruit such as blackberries. Malty, yeasty undertones. Taste- hop bitterness, raisin hints, malts, toast with marmalade, nice mouthfeel with a short finish. Tasty.

12 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malts and some resinous hops - nothing special. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malt and resinous hops. Not the most sophisticated balance, but it's pretty well constructed. Overrated, but okay.

Bottle thanks to Eugene. Pours a clear copper with small white head that lasts. The aroma is fruity malt and caramel. Medium mouth, bitter, caramel, grapefruit, good.

Bottle - Nice hops and caramel malts. Clear copper with a decent white. Nice hops with a nice hop bite. Pretty standard hoppy red.

Orangebrun noe tåkete med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter mørke frukter, karamell og grapefrukt. Fruktig start med medium bitterhet. Bitterheten sitter godt i avslutningen.
