Flipside is an easy-drinking IPA with the perfect balance between hops and malt. It features just enough smooth and slightly sweet malt body to support huge citrusy and tropical fruit-forward hop flavors from Simcoe, Citra, and Centennial hops.

0.355l bottle. Clear dark amber body, off-white head. Nice caramelly aroma with pine, grass and citruses. The taste also has a caramelly base with some toast, pine and citruses. For my taste it’s too bitter. The finish is like if you were chewing on the raw hop cones. It’s a good beer, but to be honest I expected more from SN.

12oz bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. A reddish chestnur pour with tight cream head that leaves attractive lacing on the glass; some tropical fruit on the nose, but also some birch and spruce; the piney hops seem to dominate the taste, although there are some sweet, fruity malts hidden underneath. An assertive IPA.

Bottle from Cork and Cask. Appearance - deep amber with a big fluffy head. Nose - pine and biscuits. Taste - grapefruit and biscuits. Palate - close to medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - very bitter but just within the limits of not being too bitter.
