Flipside is an easy-drinking IPA with the perfect balance between hops and malt. It features just enough smooth and slightly sweet malt body to support huge citrusy and tropical fruit-forward hop flavors from Simcoe, Citra, and Centennial hops.

Bottled 08/26/14 - Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of caramely malts, toffee, citrus, some hints of hops, fruits and grass. Taste is smooth, malty and caramely with notes of citrus, fruits and toffee. Finish is smooth and sweetish with some malty notes and hints of aged floral and grassy hops. Okay, but not very fresh anymore.

Tap. Shakespeares, Sheffield. Just about clear, reddy brown. Bubbly, thick, sticky, off white head. Spicy, grainy, chewy malts. Big hops, the Simcoe being prominent. Spicy and juicy. Taste is bitter, and spicy dry. Bit of chew. Finishes juicy bitter, with a dry finish.

Bottle from The Bottle Shop and drunk at home. Clear red brown with lasting beige head. Grapefruit aroma with some sweetness to on the aroma, some fruitiness. Very drinkable, good carbonation, some bitterness on the finish, dry as well as some sweet fruit. Overall I liked it. Just a very drinkable beer. Pretty much faultless.

355ml bottle from BeerRitz. Clear red amber colour, creamy off-white head leaving lacing and fruity toffee nose. Sweetish malty caramel flavour with toffee, light roast, fruity citrus and woody spicy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy peppery bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
