Corked bottle. Dark purple color. Lots of brett, oak, earthy notes, tannines and blackberries in the aroma, mild sour, milky flavor. Oak, tannines, twigs. Very low on carbon. Complex, and interesting.

On tap at Weekend der Spontane Gisting, Opstal, Belgium. Shared with lovely Anja. Dark reddish purple, minimal head. Blueberry up front. Barnyardy and funky. Lots of fruit here. Blue cheese emerging. Good balance with yeasty components. Wine like, but with lighter acidity. Medium body, lasting dry fruity tart finish. Puckering. Lovely touch of cheese in the flavour. Could be interpreted as aggressive, but in my view it is a complex brew. Nicely aged. Fruit is rich if not a bit watery.

750 ml bottle. Pours a deep red with large pink head. Aromas of chalky blueberries, funk and soft wheaty malts. Blueberry flavors are not too strong a bit like blueberry ice cream. Very drinkable.

Looks like blood with the dark redness and no head. Aroma and flavour start floral and fruity. Aftertaste delivers a lot of barnyard, hay and funk.

750 ml bottle, thanks Adam for carrying this back from Belgium! 2017 vintage. Appearance shows light purple, ruby color. Aroma is sulfur, earth, soil, funky berries. Mild acidic, vinous, funky blueberry juice, light yeasty. Pretty damn interesting!

Acquired at the blenderie in July 2017. The bottle wasn’t labeled yet. Just a rack of these so he gave me a paper label and I glued it to the bottle. Served 3-ways from the bottle in basket as is tradition. Had a small gushing moment notching crazy, pours a dark murky red with a 2 finger pinkish-whit head. Smells like rain, poop and mineral. Very tasty. Getting better as it opens up. Glad we didn’t wait too long.

Bottle shared by Joes. Reddish color, almost no head. Aroma is sourish, manure. Flavor is sourish, manure, very dry, chemical a bit. Oddly enough I like it though. Quite solid. 5-3-8-3-16.
Autoband, stoffig, kurk, zuur, rood fruit, kersenschilletjes. Super.
