Watery malted wheat with weak citrus and predominantly lemon notes. Muddy mouth feel. Low carb. Medium bitter finish, sweet bready, yeasty wheat flavor, slight tropical fruit finish. Nothing special.

10th July 2014 bottle from a mixed Samuel Adams pack my son-in-law bought because I like ’different beers’. It was hot and I wanted something to cool me down, this did so without testing my taste buds too greatly. Misty yellow body with a full white head. Subdued aroma and flavours of the usual ’Witbier’ style, orangey, wheaty and spicy. This was OK, but it is not my sort of brew and although I have tried a few over the years I struggle to really enjoy them: scored objectively.

Office Party: Pours light orange, slightly hazy, with a white head. Aroma is spice, lemon, and a bit of orange. Taste is sweet and very lemony. Tastes almost like a radler. Soda-like. Yes, I am sure that I didn’t take a porchrocker.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy rich yellow with foamy large white head, light citrus aroma, sweetish citrus infused taste, abrupt finish. A bit weak for a Sam Adams.

Bottle, Faint bland aroma and flavors. A bit of the citrus and Belgian notes, but drap and with a chalky feel. Papery at the end too. Disappointing.
