Bottle. A- Hints of lemon, citrus, spice. A- Golden color, hazy liquid, thin white head. T- Notes of lemon, orange and coriander. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth citrusy finish. O- Reminds me of a Hoegaarden with less spice and more citrus. A very refreshing offering from Sam Adams.

Lemon lime and coriander nose. Hazy golden, medium head. Fizzy . Stale malt and unmalted barley flavor, wheat bread crust, lemon, coriander. Spicier and fruitier than Shock Top, maltier than Blue Moon, eerily similar quality though. I have defended Boston Beer’s craft brewery status for years against those who suggest they should no longer be considered craft. Despite it’s size, Boston Beer has continued to make quality beer in a variety of interesting styles. This beer, however, makes me at least consider if they haven’t sold out.

12 oz bottle...from Jan 2013....slightly cloudy golden body with a tan head...weak malt & clove aroma...some citrus peel....the taste is pretty close to the smell....distinct orange rind in the finish...would go nice with a slab of ham

12oz bottle pours with a fairly opaque gold body that supports a wafer thin bright white head. The mild aroma has sugar sweetness, pear candy, sugar sweetened spices and then a light sweet citrusy lime candy note. The taste unloads mounds of sugary sweetness that is a mix of table sugar, sweet pear juice, sugary green apple and lime hard candy. Beneath the sweetness are mild spices like clove and sugary coriander as well as there’s more sweet pear and apple notes. Way too sweet and sugary. I will not try this again.

Bottle at home in Salisbury. Pours mostly clear gold with a fine, white foam head. Lots of orange, dough and wheat and coriander in the aroma. Medium sweet flavor with slightly sugary bready malts, spices, orange peel, coriander. Light to medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Sweet finish with just the faintest licks of bitterness, lots more bread, lightly toasted sugars, wheat, spices and citrus. Straight-ahead stuff. Not much nuance but easy to drink.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle, best by January 2014, poured into a glass. Pours hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is grains of paradise, light body, low carbonation, and medium small bubble lacing. Taste is coriander, grains of paradise, crisp wheat, and a hint of citrus.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours hazy gold with a creamy white head. Make that dirty hazy. Aroma is primarily citrus. Med body, or nearly. Flavor is wheat with zest and very light pepper/spice. Much tastier than many a wheat beer.

From a bottle smells a little soapy. Taste is spiced white beer, but not over the top. Not bad I guess. Yes, a little more spicey than yer typical white beer. Finish has a tad of that mild ale bitteness on the back of the throat.
