Hazy Light Orange, Huge bubbly Head, Some Lacing. Nice Orange Aroma. Wheat Sour, Orange, Citrus. Although I like the style and this brew was OK, for some reason this and other recent Sam Adams Beers seem to be bland and Subdued. Not sure it that is how they come out or if that is how they are made to appeal to the masses. Wish they had more character and sharper notes. Decent.

12 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, best before August 2013. Pours hazy golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, tangerine, orange peel, pear, coriander, pepper, wheat, light clove, and yeast earthiness. Ok aromas with solid balance of malt, spice, and yeast notes; but it is very weak. Taste of lemon zest, tangerine, orange peel, pear, coriander, pepper, wheat, bread, light clove, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of citrus, light fruits, coriander, pepper, wheat, bread, light clove, and earthiness on the finish for a bit. Nice and pleasant flavors with good balance of malt, spice, and yeast esters; with a fair amount of robustness and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a slightly creamy and moderately crisp mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very solid witbier. A little weak on flavors; but is well balanced and very easy to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.

Bottle: Hazy golden-yellow pour with a short lived white head. Lively aroma of citrus and earthy wheat. Light grass. The fruitiness hits up front; citrus or more so a tropical fruit blend. Wheat and light florals follow, before a little more fruitiness in the tail. Crisp and refreshing.

Part of their Spring Thaw 2013 mixed pack bought in Montpelier, VT. Hazy golden colour with a warm cap and small lace. Orange and light spices aromas. Even hints of maple. Refreshing mouthfeel. Orange taste with some mild coriander. Grain comes out in the aftertaste with honey notes. A different witbier that is interesting.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a cloudy, dark gold with minimal head. Aroma of corriander and orange citrus. Taste is light sweet. Citrus and...this tastes like fucking fruity pebbles. I cant get that out of my head and now its all i taste. Light bodied with a relatively thick texture. Lively carbonation but not too long of a finish. Overall, not bad. Reminds me of how a blue moon should taste.
