Bottle. Light golden-amber beer with a cream head. Spice and eyast aroma with light wheat. Wheat and spice flavor with yeast and light citrus. Medium bodied. Wheat and citrus linger with yeast and spice.

Bottle. Pours hazy pale amber with a small off white head that dissipated with some lacing. Aroma is wheat, orange peel, spices, cardboard. Flavor is the same, not too spicy. Light sweet, minimal bitterness, light zesty. Medium body

After a number of pretty mediocre attempts as doing a Belgian Wit Boston Beer Company finally managed to pull it off. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy apricot color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweetish orange, honey and bread. The flavor was musty yet fairly sweet with notes of coriander, orange, bread, biscuit and honey. Long musty orange and coriander finish. Moderately full bodied. Well done.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Sparrow-Downtown, 3/1/13

Aroma: The aroma is citrus/orange zest, some wheat, and plenty of coriander/spice
Appearance: It pours a hazy gold-orange color with a small off-white head and light lace
Flavor: Tastes much the same, lots of orange and other citrus with plenty of spice and some wheat
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has average-plus carbonation, and a lasting, tingly finish
Overall Impression: This is a pretty solid one. It is nothing special, but it feels fairly on style, and is sessionable and enjoyable enough. It probably goes without saying, but I'd be significantly happier to see this one on a menu then a Blue Moon.

12 oz bottle from the spring variety pack. Pours hazy gold with a medium collapsing off-white head. Aroma is full of coriander and orange (tangerine?) peel; an offnote of metal. Taste is lightly sweet and finishes dry; spicy, wheaty and citrusy. Nice witbier; no real deviations from other straightforward examples.

bottle - Pours hazy straw colored with a one finger, rapidly fading head. It smells of spices and citrus. The flavor is sweet, light, spicy, and refreshing. It’s easy to drink and enjoyable with lively carbonation and citrus notes. Good.

It pours a hazy golden orange into my nonic. Foamy, clingy lacing spider webs around the glass. A thick one inch white foamy head appears and lasts a good minute. Some slowly moving carbonation is seen rising. The smell is soap, orange, and lemon coming through in a spicy way. Hops are there but very subdued. No yeast is smelled. The taste takes the citrusy smells and adds a bit of a subdued wheat flavoring. No yeast is tasted. The mouthfeel is medium with nothing harsh on the tongue. It has a watery aftertaste and finish. This is very sessionable. Overall, a bit different for a real witbier (\"where’s the yeast?), but I liked it for me. I’d have it again.

This review was imported from my RateBeer ratings.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a golden straw color with a frothy white head that lasts a long time. Aromas of sweet lemon and tangerine with floral undertones. Taste is lightly sweet with flavors of tangerine and maybe banana. Has a medium-body with a creamy texture. Finish is very abrupt. Carbonation is lively.

I was pleasantly surprised by this brew because I didn’t think I would like it. In the end, I found it very refreshing. Would I consider it a finely-crafted ale? No. Would I happily consider it on a hot day? Absolutely.
