Bottle. So this is pretty new stuff and I’m eager to give it a try. Upon pouring, I’m a little concerned... looks like a slightly darkened macro-swill... crystal clear gold with lots of carbonation rising off the bottom of the glass and a decently dense foamy head that starts fading quickly. Not sure why, but I wanted a different head on this one. Aromas are mostly fruity... orchardy stuff like pears and apples with a little bit of banana and maybe some very faint cloves and pepper. Flavor takes a different direction though, and those spicy aroma notes come out strong and bury the fruit that I detected in the nose. It is peppery with a little bit of a watery interlude as it slides across the palate before it finishes with some sort of oddly nondescript spiciness that reminds me of cinnamon and cloves, but that’s not exactly it. Seldom do I find a beer that seems so different in what it presents to the nose and then to the palate. Interesting and very good for the low ABV, but still kind of \"meh.\"

Pour is a clear golden with a average white head. Aroma is awsome. Lots of fruity esters with a Belgian yeast funk. Flavor is dry pils malts with some light fruit and some spice. This was a tasty low abv beer. I’m glad they replaced the saison from last years summer pack with this b/c that thing was awful.

12oz bottle in the dorky Sam Adams glass. Filtered orange-tan, thin off-white head sticks around. Peachy fresh, fragrant aroma. On the lighter side of medium bodied, quite sessionable and refreshing. I’d call this a stateside Belgian Singel...a truly neglected style. While this is a little dumbed down, hardly world class, it is still OK enough. Lemon zest flavors...I guess those are the hops? Unique, a respectable effort.
