A crisp, refreshing version of a traditional Belgian beer. Fruity, slightly spicy flavors from the Belgian yeast are balanced by toffee and caramel notes from our blend of malts. The hops provide a citrus character that rounds out this enjoyable brew.

Bottle: poured a coppery orange with fluffy white head. Aroma is a mix of funky barnyard and wheat. Taste is watery grain, wheat like characters, and yet very refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz draft at Martin City Brewing Company in Martin City, Missouri. The pour is clear golden copper, with a one inch white. The aroma is soft Belgian yeast, light floral hops, and toasted grain. The taste is a nice balance of the yeast, hops and the grain malt carries the finish. The palate is medium to light bodied, soft natural carbonation. I liked this beer, nice easy drinking.

Sample pour at Brewsapalooza beer fest. Pours a clear dark gold with about a finger of white head. Aroma of yeast, banana, and clove. Taste is about the same with the addition of some spices. Medium bodied with a somewhat sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, very good. I would buy a 6-pack of this if it was available.

Gold color and a white head. Well carbonated. The Belgian yeast is prominent, which gives a hint of a saison or wild beer character, but it never gets quite that far. Light malt flavor. One of the better beers to come out of Boston Beer Company.

Pours hazy dark gold into a Sam glass. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet candi and yeast aromas. Fruity banana, citrus and caramel upfront turning to yeast in the medium length finish.

Bottle from the Summer sampler. Pours a clear golden color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of heavy spices, mild plums and toffeeish malts. The taste is banana, spice, stone fruits, buttered popcorn, caramel. Mild hops and lingering spiciness. Medium bodied. Pretty nice beer.

Draft @ Portsmouth Gas Light Co. Belgian yeast with lots of fruit in the nose. Pleasant. Coriander like spice at the first sip followed by yeast and light malt. All the flavors are light. For sure easy to session if you find it on draft. I really feel this was dumbed down for the masses. It doesn’t have anything that makes me want it again. Kind of forgettable.

Bottle. Musty lemon and malt aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head. Lightly sweet, musty lemon flavor with minimal malt. No off flavors but extremely light - maybe an okay way to introduce a BMC drinker to Belgian beers.
