Nomad is our spin on the classic Bohemian Pilsner style. The journey starts with German malts and Saaz hops that offer a lively floral nose and crispness, while a full 5 weeks of lagering time ensures that Nomad is eminently balanced. This Nomad may wander, but it’s got some serious roots.

Aroma is a bit skunk and malt. Flavor’s slightly more sweet than bitter, wet grain, not all that great Finish is on the sweet side and not in a good way.

A: Clear dark gold with a tight low white head. Good retention and good lacing around the glass continues as you drink. S: Yeasty bread and a little detectable hop herbs/spiciness. .Very little hop presence. T: Snappy crispness from the malts. A mild earthy hop taste at the end. Not really a bite but fairly pronounced. Herbal/earthy hop taste. Dry. Citrusy. Pretty good but I’d like a middle malt note. Hops overpower slightly. M: Again, dry and crisp. Very refreshing and drinkable. Pretty nice. O: Fairly tasty if lacking in malt flavor but quite drinkable. Maybe not a repurchase but pretty interesting and good.

Bottle, slight hazy very pale straw yellow with a thin quick spritzy head. Light grain and a bit of stale hay with some flory hoppiness. Pretty strong noble hop bite and soft malty body. A dcent pilsner.

Tap at Great Divide, Denver. Poured a clear light amber with a broken thin white head. The aroma is weak malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a malty yeast hoppy palate. A pretty damn good Pilsener I must say.

On tap at the bocktown, thot I had this before, what gives? Pale yellow. Starts out well behaved then goes off the edge during the session. A little slaggy then goes into a slight bitter piercing back of throat thing. Not bad overall, good co2. Yes, finish emphasizes bitterness just like old contry pils.
