Very popular. A complex hopping method where each hop addition is double the previous amount. More hops in the hopback and then two dry-hop sessions. The second dry-hop session is with whole hops and oak chips. 1.093 OG 10.75%ABV

Generously shared by mreusch by way of alohaC, I believe. Pour is clear golden with a smallish white head that leaves behind nice sticky lacing. Aroma of immediate and big resin, citrus, and spicy hops. Only a hint of bitterness, just fresh hop goodness. Nice grainy maltiness is there as well, but certainly behind that crazy fresh hop blast. Taste is the resin hoppiness, the citrus, though still decently balanced with a strong bready maltiness. Palate is medium to full, very dry, with not much sweetness. What was there was citrus fruit, and quite fresh. Really no apparent alcohol, which is amazing. Nice mouth coating - this is my kind of DIPA. Thanks for sharing this rarity Matt!

growler courtesy of tpd975. Thanks Greg for this ultimate hop bag. Never thought I would enjoy a DIPA that much. Pours golden, white head. Aroma, like opening a bag of fresh grass/pine, loaded with amazing scent and hops. Taste, lots of grass, pine hops, some spices, light apricot/peach fruit notes, remains highly smooth on the palate. This is one fine brewed beer.

Big thanks to stefanje for trading this to me for my tasting. Pours with a small white head with great lace and a clear golden body. Aroma is hoppy with exotic fruits, melon and citrus. Taste is alcohol, exotic fruit hops, caramel, vanilla, and a light earthiness. Amazingly well balanced. Light carbonation and a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Everyone loved this...The growler was gone almost instantly.

Hazy straw colour. Deep rich citrus, wood with light tropical fruit. Such monster hops. Astringent, extreme hops on the palate. Bone dry. Unbalanced, this pushes past my limits but Iβm sure thereβs an audience for bitter cantaloupe juice.

Draught Nearly no (yellow) head; hazy orange-ochre beer. Exploding, but very fine mandarine/tangerine hops, breaking out the glass - well, cup. Not overly bitter, but very hoppy (surprise, surprise), bit metallic and again marked tangerine/kumquat flavours. Quite oily MF, just a tad too thick & alcoholy to be refreshing, but still... Deeply impressed with this. Explosive overhoppiness, citrus bittering - exactly what it is NOT. Itβs actually very inviting.

Growler from brewery pours gold with nice lasting off white head and sheet lacing. The aroma is full of grapefruit and tangelo to spice hops along with some pine hops in there as well. There is a backbone of malty sweetness in the nose too. The taste is thick and rich and viscous with grapefruit, tangelo and orange peel hop flavor and hop bitterness. Excellent mix of fresh tasty hops that grows more and more bitter into the finish. A malty sweetness tries to be heard over the torrent of hop notes but never really gets it done. Absolutely delicious brew, Wow!

Draft. Rich amber beer with a nice off-white head. Sweet citrus malt aroma. Sweet malt and caramel flavor with lots of fruity hops - orange/apricot. Easy drinking. LIngering fruity hops. Medium bodied. Hides alcohol well. Wanted a bit more body
