Yeah, it’s that good! HFS is our GABF 2016 Bronze medal winner in the Strong Ale category. This West Coast-style American IPA is light bodied and full of hop flavor and aroma. It pours a pale gold with a light, fluffy, off-white head. Featuring a combination of Mosaic, Simcoe, and Citra hops, HFS presents a bold tropical fruit explosion with hints of grass and pine balanced by a light and bready malt character.

Draught @ Rattle’n’Hum. Clear golden with foamy off-white head, floral hops aroma, high carbonation, mildly bitter citrus peel taste with mango flavor, thin body, long hoppy finish. Very good.

Damn tasty IPA, loads of fresh oranges and berries laced with lemondrops and a hefty dose of dank weed and pine on the back end. Massive herbs-n-citrus nose. Gorgeous pour comes out a lovely yellow-gold with a giant white head and tons of lace. Creamy, oily palate makes the pint disappear way too quickly. Killer IPA.

On Tap light haze pale yellow with a lasting fine off white head. Nice bright lemony and citrus aroma and flavors. Lemony and floral with some grassy notes in the flavors. Light and clean. Quite good

Taster at BitterCreek. Another one that is a conundrum. Very gentle at first, but gets richer the longer it sits on your tongue. Smooth and silky, aroma is mellow, as is taste, but blossoms on the palate. Still, first impressions ....would really need to drink this solo, and not part of a huge sample saession.

Sampled on draft at Hugo's this beer poured a very dark golden color with a large fluffy off white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was tart, bitter, citric and piney. The flavor was tangy, piney, citric and a bit perfumey. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

Draft/Fest. A- Citrus, pine. A- Orange color, clear liquid, white head. T- Pine, bitter, citrus. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Shocked to have this at a fest in Nebraska when I thought it was only ever on tap at the brewery in Cali. I can see why hopheads like this but after so many IPA's to me it just tastes like another IPA. Good stuff but didn't impress me and not near as juicy as I hoped for considering the hop selection.
