Johnny wasn’t sure how he’d feel about The Stranger when they met, but they hit it off pretty quickly. He may not say much, but The Stranger’s got quite the personality on him. Yup, he’s a cuddle bunny of a yeast monster. Must be the kitten. This American Hefeweizen brings a sweet and spicy bite that comes from the use of a hefeweizen yeast strain. Bold hop flavors mingle amongst classic banana and clove hefeweizen notes.

Burk från SB. Disig orange med vit krona. Jäst, skumbanan, vete, jordiga och örtiga toner, honung och syltad ingefära. Väldigt mycket belgo-toner, även om jag antar att den ska dra mer åt det tyska hållet. Vad gäller IPA-delen kommer det fram en del apelsinmarmelad, citrusskal, granskott och kåda med en ganska gräsig beska. Avslutas med en ganska skarp beska. Intressant, och kul!

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy golden, mid sized head. Rich aroma of banana, peach and apricot. Mid sweet with medium plus body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and bready, lots of banana and phenols, complimented by sweet tropical fruits. Mid bitter finish. Rather rough.

4 pack at home over weekend watching Aussie Open mostly. Hazy orange pour couple floaties. Nose is ripe fruit and yeasty. Tastes of apricot, peach, cantaloupe, yeast, herbs. Medium bodied and some sweetness. Soft wheaty finish.

Poured from can thanks Clark dated 9/25/17 hazy peach with foamy white head. Aromas of yeast hops light alcohol mild citrus. Taste is slightly bitter malt lightly sweet citrus not getting the hops.

16 oz. can. Darker golden color with some lasting foamy head. Aroma has wheat, mild peach, mild citrus, some earthy pine like notes. The flavor is pretty much as expected. Orange, grapefruit rind in a wheaty background. The finish seem to have some pine / resin bitterness. Overall, good wheaty IPA, respectable.
