Sampled on draft at Vintage Estate this beer poured a pale yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was faintly tart with citrus and cracker. The flavor was dryish and yeasty with citrus and cracker. Medium length finish. Light body.

Drinking right from the bottle, I assume its clear pale yellah. Decent carbonation and the taste is shades of leather and some mild grammas permanent hair treatment, same smell as well. A little more medicinal and bitter than expected for a cream ale. I would say that the civility of this is almost on par with good ol genny. Genny is cheaper.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 5/31/2017. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of pear, apple, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with pale malt/corn and light fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of pear, apple, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great robustness of pale malt/corn and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Lightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Very clean lagering, not too fruity/yeasty. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is an excellent cream ale! All around great robustness of pale malt/corn and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful and not watery feeling for the low ABV. Pretty much a perfect example of the style. Clean bready malt/corn flavors; with mild hop balance and restrained yeast ester character. A really enjoyable offering.

Bottle: Clear gold with a large, solid white head. Corn, grain aroma. Taste is very grainy....slightly tangy-bitter grain malt. Not smooth or creamy at all. Made me think I was drinking a cheap carribean lager, actually. Not great.
