Bottle on the train to Poperinge. Clear deep brown liquid with medium light tan head. Aroma of dried fruit, corn, raw sugar, banana and light booze. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with notes of raw sugar, caramel and booze. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Quite bad...

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch nach getrockneten Früchten, Hefe, Karamell. Geschmack hefig, Karamell, Früchte, leicht gewürzig.

Der Antrunk ist neutral-wässrig und ziemlich süffig. Im Hauptteil wird es malziger - und vor allem süßer. Der Abgang ist süßlich-malzig, ja schon klebrig-süß. Die 7% sind nicht zu schmecken. Aber irgendwie ist mir das Ganze doch viel zu süß - es schmeckt wie ein klebriges, alkoholhaltiges Malzbier…

Tap @ A La Mort Subite. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are yeast, caramel, dark fruits, nuts and hops.

25 cl. bottle @ home, bought somewhere in Belgium. Brown with a thin off-white head. Aroma of molasses, dark fruits, caramel and some fish. Not very nice. Taste is better luckily, with roasted malts, molasses and dark fruits. A little alcohol burn in the aftertaste. Not very balanced and not very good.
