Medium, cream-coloured head, slightly irregular, over faintly veiled foxy orange beer. Oxydation, old cookies jumping up whilst pouring. Yet BBd still 6 months away. Coffeemilk, oxydized malts, maltsyrup. More oxydation in the taste, with a fine sourish lining, milk beginning to sour; Alcoholsweet, grains and malts, corn. Spritzy carbonation, blanketed by the thick, near viscous maltload. Oops. DeScription says it all.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB Sep 2016, large sample. Almost clear orange color, medium rocky head. Aroma is soft spicy, quite some orange and mandarin, bit sweet fruity with a touch of caramel. Bit sweet in taste, combination of orange and mandarin together with caramel. Slight grainy note. Bit sparkling in the finish, slight alcohol. I like orange forward tripels and I quite like this tripel. Nice!

--- Beer merged from original tick of Tripel on 18 May 2018 at 11:17 - Score: 6
