Refreshment, thy name is Clementine. One sip of this White Ale transports you to the shade of a mighty tree, lounging in the peace of a crisp spring afternoon. Luscious citrus flavors and Belgian spice abound in Clementine, which features additions of Sweet Orange Peel, Coriander, and Mandarina Hops. The use of a Belgian Ale yeast strain contributes a tinge of peppery flavor to this crisp summer companion.

Tap at Brewdog Birmingham. Poured a clear straw colour with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is orange citrus hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a citrus acid dry aspirin spice toothpaste hop palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Packs a punch and very refreshing.

Draft - Sweet citrus and wheat. Clear gold with a thin white head. Sweet citrus, candy caramel, wheat and a bit of hop bitterness. The Clementine adds a refreshing difference to the Wit.

Bottle from Bottledog. It pours hazy gold with small white head. The nose fresh, juicy clementine, herbal, spicy, wheat, orangeade and candied peel. The taste is smooth, bitter, doughy, wheat, orange citrus, juicy, spicy/herbal notes and wood with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Well-balanced and very approachable stuff. Nice.

From a 355ml bottle on 28/3/2014. Pours a clear medium golden with a biggish head. Has a light aroma of grain, spice and yeast. In the mouth, you get some sharp citrus fruit, peel, banana, bread, coriander, more spices and the barest hint of pepper. Has a nice little hop kick, which is not typical of a wit. Has a fullish body and very lively carbonation. It comes together quite nicely and is a pleasant, refreshing experience.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a transparent bright yellow body that yielded a very bubbly yet foamy large white head that lasted a good thirty seconds. Fast rising carbonation fed that head very well.
The smell centered around the orange and some clove but something actually felt off unbalanced.
The taste had orange and the clove with a peppery sort of taste packed with light coriander but once again, the flavor seemed a bit off.
The palate is about a light to medium with a decent amount of carbonation hitting the tongue pretty hard. It leaves a dry finish.
Overall, I believe this is good for the style, but for me, eh, maybe only again on tap.

Dobre tresciwe i swiezo pachnace swiezymi klementynkami. Piana spora wysoka i trwala, co jest zadkoscia w tym stylu. Lekko metne i musujace. W smaku drozdzowo bananowe. Odswiezajace i pelne w piciu.
